[PT] Korina Kordova atua como bailarina, coreógrafa e performer em diferentes contextos das artes da cena, além facilitar oficinas e cursos regulares de movimento e improvisação. Atualmente é artista-pesquisadora no âmbito do programa Master of Theatre Practices na ArtEZ University of the Arts, Arnhem, Holanda.

Seus trabalhos foram apresentados no Brasil, na Polônia, na Alemanha e na República Checa em contextos como Festival Tanztage (Berlim), Quadrienal de Praga, Art Stations Foundation (Poznan, PL), Dança no MIS – Museu da Imagem e do Som em São Paulo e Mostra Cult Dance (Brasília). É autora dos trabalhos #abismo.animados (2017-2019), Sinuosity: the muse (2018), after sinuous curves (2017), #abyss.foodpossession (2015), #abyss.witchroulette (2013), on 8th boulevard. right after sinuous curves (2013), Borderline (2010) e Karolina (2007), entre outros.

Iniciou seus estudos em dança na cidade de São Paulo em 1991. Graduou-se em Jornalismo pela Faculdade de Comunicação Social Cásper Líbero em 1999. Como bailarina/ performer trabalhou com as companhias Silesian Dance Theatre (PL), Kokoro Dance (CAN), BalletMet (EUA), Samovarteateret (NO), Dance Theatre Zawirowania (PL), Via Negativa (SLO) e Cia. Corpos Nômades (BR). Colaborou com os coreógrafos/ diretores Isabelle Schad (DE), Idan Cohen (ISR), Irad Mazliah (ISR), João Andreazzi (BR), Bojan Jablanovec (SLO), Jacek Łuminski (PL), Marta Ziółek (PL), Anna Piotrowska (PL), Farid Fairuz (RO), Kuik Swee Boon (SGP), Suzana Gomes (NL/BR), Hilke Diemer (NL), Ramona Nagabczynska (PL), Joanna Lesnierówska (PL), Helena Ganjalyan (PL), Anita Wach (PL), Bente Andersen (NO) e Ana Borralho (PT), entre outros.

De 2006 a 2011 colaborou com o Studio of Physical Theatre em Bytom (PL), onde além de atuar como docente em dança contemporânea e improvisação, co-criou as peças Elektrokosmos (2008) e Cranes (2009) com a atriz e diretora polonesa Ewa Zawada. Em 2012 criou o coletivo ‘Flesh System’ com o coreógrafo Przemek Kaminski (PL/DE). É co-fundadora do Centrum w Ruchu/ Center in Motion – associação de artistas da dança independentes em Varsóvia.

Foi bolsista da ‘Alternative Dance Academy 2012’ na Old Brewery New Dance, Art Stations Foundation by Grazyna Kulczyk em Poznan (PL), onde também foi artista residente dentro do programa Solo Project 2013. Participou como coreógrafa do Choreo Lab – Zurich/Warsaw, um projeto entre a Tanzhaus Zurich (CH) e o Center in Motion (PL) dirigido por Andrea Boll com apoio da Pro-Helvetia.

Em 2015 colaborou com o dramaturgista Mateusz Szymanówka (PL/DE) no desenvolvimento do projeto de pesquisa em dança what moves them, parte do projeto ‘Center in Process’ do ‘Center in Motion’, subsidiado pela cidade de Varsóvia. Atuou como colaboradora na inauguração do ‘Kem Warsaw’ – um espaço para projetos feministas e queer dedicados a coreografia contemporânea e performance iniciado pelo artista Alex Baczynski-Jenkins. Foi artista residente no Centro de Referência da Dança da Cidade de São Paulo entre 2017 e 2019.

[EN] Korina Kordova works as a dancer, choreographer and performer in different artistic contexts. Collaborated with the Studio of Physical Theatre in Bytom (PL) from 2006 to 2011, where she taught contemporary dance and improvisation and co-created the pieces Elektrokosmos (2008) and Cranes (2009) with Polish actress and director Ewa Zawada. In 2012 she started the collective ‘Flesh System’ with dancer/ choreographer Przemek Kaminski (PL/DE). She’s a co-founder of Centrum w Ruchu/ Center in Motion – an association of independent dance artists based in Warsaw.

Korina was a scholarship holder at the ‘Alternative Dance Academy 2012’ at Old Brewery New Dance, Art Stations Foundation by Grazyna Kulczyk in Poznan (PL), where she was also an artist in residence in the frame of the program Solo Project 2013. She participated as a choreographer in Choreo Lab – Zurich/Warsaw, a project between Tanzhaus Zurich (CH) and Center in Motion (PL), directed by Andrea Boll and supported by Pro-Helvetia.

In 2015 she initiated the dance research project what moves them with the dance dramaturg Mateusz Szymanówka (PL/DE) as part of ‘Center in Process’ – a ‘Center in Motion’ project financed by the city of Warsaw. She was a collaborator in the opening of ‘Kem Warsaw’ – a space for feminist and queer projects dedicated to new choreography and performance initiated by the artist Alex Baczynski-Jenkins. She was an artist in residence at Centro de Referência da Dança da Cidade de São Paulo between 2017 and 2019.
